



The macadamia nut is a member of the Proteaceae family which originates from Australia.
There are two species, macadamia integrifolia and macadamia tetraphylla.
Macadamia Tetraphylla is more tolerant with high rain fall and high humidity. It usually has 4 leaves to a nodal whirl.

Macadamis integrifolia is best suited to area of high light intensity and warmth. It can be a sporadic bearer. It has 3 leaves at each node.
